About Ms. Cynthia:
I am a mother to three beautiful children who are my life. I have three wonderful daughters - Ashley 18 (Away At College), Amy 16, and Christine 12. During the school year, I homeschool my children in their studies. During the summer they help out with the daycare and help with the daycare children.
My daughter Amy is CPR certified and First Aid Trained. I am serve-safe certified and love to cook. I also love to read, be outside, swim, garden, dance, and go to garage sales. I am CPR certified, First Aid Trained, Heimlich Trained and Have (SAFE SLEEP TRAINING) SIDS Prevention Training under my belt. I am also a strong swimmer and can be a valuable asset when needed in a crisis situation.
I must admit, I have never had to place my children in a daycare, but I did have to find someone to come to our home to care for my oldest two girls when they were 3 & 4 years old. I was lucky when I found a sweet grandma type lady and her daughter. But it did not last but 3 months because of her heart problems, so I quit work to stay home with my children and begin my own business. I will never regret the decision to stay home with my children, but most moms are not that lucky. I understand how hard it can be. I want to help you with your childcare needs.
About Ms. Amy:
Ms. Amy is 16 years old and is a student Assistant. She is currently CPR and First Aide Certified. Currently she is finishing up her Junior Year in her education. She is working on her Safe Sleep Practices (SIDS PREVENTION) and also her Child Development so that she herself may open up a daycare when she is done with college. Amy intends to attend IUSB and obtain her Early Childhood Education Degree. She is wonderful with the pre-school age children and is currently working with a class of students to teach them their kindergarten skills they will need.
About Ms. Cynthia & Ms. Amy:
We are both in the daycare business together and we both are CPR Certified, First Aid Certified and Heimlich Trained. I am also trained in Safe Sleep Practices (SIDS Prevention). Amy is currently working on her Safe Sleep practices Classes.
We serve healthy homecooked meals and fun kids friendly snacks. Our home does have some very child friendly cats who mainly hang out in the basement. They are up to date on vaccinations and vet care.
We are dedicated to our work and the children we care for.
